Adelaide|bronze pig statues|City walk|

Image
After the hot air balloon ride, my massage colleague Phoebe and I flew from Melbourne to Adelaide to start a 10-day journey. This journey started from Melbourne, flew to Adelaide in South Australia, then to Alice Springs & Uluru in Central Australia, and then returned to Melbourne. She has a strong independent mind. Is it a blessing or a curse for her to explore the journey? Well, don’t think too much and enjoy the moment. Today we walked to Adelaide’s city like tourists. I really like the bronze pig statues. They look like they are walking on the street alive! Is there anything delicious in the trash can? As for the rabbit and dog drinking coffee, I’ve seen this one in Melbourne too! Drink coffee slowly~ The Adelaide arcade is also full of art, and the angle at which the umbrellas droop is quite unusual. Then I walked into the market and saw beautiful scarves! It’s the same color as my hat!   We went to Jamie Oliver's restaurant for lunch, haha. We ordered steak and cut...

Hot Air Balloon : Yarra Valley (Melbourne)

Image
Morning!  My massage friend’s birthday was coming soon. She wanted to take a hot air balloon. We signed up for a sunrise tour with a hot air balloon company. It has three takeoff locations, namely Melbourne , Yarra Valley & Mansfield . We like the rural scenery, but Mansfield is a long drive, so we chose Yarra Valley. We arrived at Lilydale one day earlier, so that we could arrive at the meeting point early the next day. We got up at around 4 o'clock. When we arrived, the sky started to light up and we saw the moment when the hot air balloon ignited its fuel. Soon after, we boarded the hot air balloon and slowly ascended. We saw the morning light and mist, and the surroundings were as calm as a mirror. hot air balloon interior sunrise Photos taken with morning light are the most natural filters There were more than 10 people in the hot air balloon, and we were lucky enough to find a corner The shadow of the hot air balloon is also beautiful The one-hour hot air balloon r...

Lake Tyrrell Salt Lake

Image
My Hong Kong’s friends wanted to go to Lake Tyrrell Salt Lake, and they arranged for a driver and tour guide, so I went with them. Lake Tyrrell is the largest salt lake in Melbourne, 314 kilometers away from the city center (about 5 hours' drive), with a total area of 20,860 hectares. We arrived before sunset. It was really like a mirror, reflecting the reflection of the sky, and we stepped into the salt lake, and saw my own reflection like looking in a mirror, so amazing! I took some beautiful photos, but the soles of my shoes were actually full of mud (because the lake water is very shallow, the water and mud merged, and the soles of my shoes were full of mud, haha). The beautiful scenery comes with a price, so friends who go to the Salt Lake are advised to bring water shoes~~ Next article :  the hot air balloon in Yarra Valley Previous article : Snowy River National Park & Lakes

lost in the snowy river national park

Image
Snowy River National Park & Lakes entrance One day he wanted to go somewhere farther away, so we started a 2-day and 1-night trip. The journey to snowy river national park is 354km. We started early and passed by Buchan. The land here has a fairyland-like fog, and we are always amazed by the beauty of nature. We arrived at the entrance of snowy river, but we got lost in the national park! We drove into the forest and took a small road. There was no internet. The navigation led us to private land. There were pink ribbons hanging on the trees. We saw a deer outside the car. We were scared by various situations and left the national park in a hurry. It was already evening when we arrived at the lakes entrance. The lake was really peaceful. I stayed in this peaceful place for one night and then returned to Melbourne. Although we couldn’t reach the top of the mountain , I am still happy to have a wonderful journey with you. Relevant article :  Salt Lake Tyrell   Relevant articl...

My swallow tattoo

Image
One day I asked myself whether tattoos are good. I thought "no problem", so I got my first tattoo - swallow. It means freedom. In this free country, let me fly freely. fine line tattoo@Richmond, Melbourne It was all a dream The tattoo artist said it would take about 20 minutes. I asked if it would be painful? He said, no, even if it hurts, it is a pain you can bear. Start tattooing The tattoo artist first printed the drawing on my right shoulder. At that time, he asked me whether I wanted the swallow to be on the outside or on the inside (near the neck). I said without thinking about the inside, near the neck. He said that he thought it was on the outside because it is a very common phenomenon for swallows to fly outward, yes, and I don’t know why I want to look inside. I think it’s because of “me”. After the watermark paper was printed, I heard the sound of the machine. Well, it started. I felt the pain at this moment. Soon after, I felt more carefully like being bitten by...

The Best place to visit in Melbourne : Portsea (Point Nepean National Park)

Image
My Portsea refers to Point Nepean National Park in the town of Portsea. It is a beautiful land surrounded by sea on three sides, with mountains and water. If you have a car, it's only a 50-minute drive from my home in Frankston to Portsea. But if you don't have a car, you have to take a bus... there are more than 50 stops from the terminal to the terminal... a total of two hours. After arriving Portsea, you can rent a bicycle and travel around the place (you can also take the shuttle bus up there) I went to Frankston twice in half a year. It’s crazy, isn’t it? It’s just because it’s beautiful, with various beauties of nature, its tree-lined walks are unforgettable, and its lapping waves are so tempting. The first time I heard about Portsea was when I heard it shared with a massage colleague who is experienced in traveling. She said it is not far from here, the scenery is beautiful, it has mountains and sea, and it is comfortable. You can also rent a bicycle there and travel a...

Melbourne 1 day trip : The Great Ocean Road

Image
The Great Ocean Road is a road along the coastline. It is in the southwest of Melbourne, starting from the city, and has a total length of 400 kilometers to the South Australian border. A group of seven of us first went along the road to the famous West Gate bridge. It is the only highway from Geelong, the second largest province in Victoria. It is very busy. Another major feature of it is that, Under the bridge is a salt lake, a small pink lake!  The pink lake is due to the relatively high salt content and different algae in the lake. The lake surface will change color with the sunlight. We deliberately chose to arrive at noon. Unfortunately, only the edges were dyed red and we could not see a pink lake. After that, we went all the way south to the surfing paradise Torquay. The waves were really big and we saw many water enthusiasts surfing there🏄‍♀️ Then we drove to the town of Loren and saw the waterfall in the national park near the town. The waterfall is also a surpris...
